For the second straight year, Property Works is taking part in the Best Buddies Georgia Champion of the year fundraiser. The goal of the fundraiser is to raise enough money to open a Best Buddies Georgia office and hire full-time staff.
Best Buddies is a nonprofit organization dedicated to establishing a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment, leadership development, and inclusive living for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
Currently there is no Best Buddies Georgia office. Without an office, Best Buddies cannot implement any of the integrated employment and leadership development programs that are so vital to the community.
Thanks to the help of all the Best Buddies Champion of the year participants, this year’s fundraising goal was met and a Georgia Best Buddies office will open in 2021!
